A program in the Office of Student Activities at PCCC.
The Student Orientation is a program at Passaic County Community College that helped new students get acquainted with important college policies, expectations, and bring awareness of the services and programs available at the school.
The goal was to revamp, simplify, and streamline the content of orientation. It was to also gather updated content with each department in the school. The goal was to also make the orientation more attractive and engaging for students to finish faster.
She edited, proofread, organized, and streamlined the orientation content and slides and created templates, guides, and diagrams for the employees to facilitate in the background.
She created scripts, directed, and worked with a production company to produce fun, engaging videos for the orientation.
She redesign the website and layout of the content to advance the brand, improve the user experience and user interface, and to display the programs and offerings the organization has to offer.
Streamlining and making the orientation more engaging, students were able to get through the orientation within an 1 hour instead of 4 hours. Some samples:
